Video Tribute
Your photos, music & background scenery selection are incorporated into a professional Video Tribute. It can be shown at any event and can be placed on our website at your request. Portable Sound and Video Equipment
A service on the beach, your favorite restaurant, Park or local hall will be enhanced by using our state of the art sound and video equipment. Our staff will transport and operate the equipment.

Live or Delayed Webcast (Live in our Torrance location only)
Whether it’s distance, health, personal or professional commitments or financial situation, something may prevent some friends and family members from attending the memorial. This service will allow those that cannot attend to view a live broadcast of the event right from their own computer. After the live broadcast, the event can be accessed for up to 90 days on our website, LAfuneral.com.

Certified Celebrant
Our certified celebrant has been specially trained to assist families in organizing, coordinating, and presenting a completely unique Life Celebration Ceremony or Memorial Service that because of the venue, participants, and program reflects the person's unique character & personality.
Organizes and facilitates a family planning meeting of up to 2 hours
Coordinates with our event planner to offer innovative venues, participants, and program ideas
If desired acts as master of ceremonies or clergy during the memorial or ceremony

Videographer
Many times the passing of a loved one may mean the day of the event goes by in a blur. All of the eulogies, the friends and relatives and the flowers are captured and can be tastefully edited. Your DVD will be a valuable keepsake for generations to come.

Seed Packets
At the conclusion of the services, those attending receive a small packet of Wildflower seeds. These seeds offer a lasting remembrance of the deceased. Each year when the flowers bloom, memories of the deceased are called to mind.

Newspaper Obituary
Our staff will place an obituary in any U.S. newspapers at no charge to you. Because we place a great number of obituaries for our clients, we get an advantageous line rate (for some local papers). Pricing is based on the number of words and /or lines and whether or not a photo is placed with the obituary.
Photo Collage Board Kit
The Photo Collage Board Kit allows families to display photographs, awards and other personal items of the deceased for friends and family to view. As a courtesy to those we serve, we will provide basic items to assist you in completing your own Photo Memory Board. This will include the board, glue stick and colored paper. $35.00 (Up to 2 boards included in some plans)
Memorabilia Display Table
At the request of the family, a personalization table may be placed in front or at the rear of the chapel. This table may be used to display personal items such as photographs, awards, hobbies or crafts. This allows the family and friends to reflect on the interests, hobbies or lifestyle of the deceased.

Hearing favorite music sets the mood for a more meaningful event. Big Band, Classical, Oldies, Country, Rock, Contemporary or Religious music can be brought in to personalize the experience & played before, during or after any event. Any music provided should be in CD format.

Flowers can be made available to every family member & attendees to place on the casket, near the urn or tribute photo at the Service, Ceremony, Tribute or Farewell party.

Veterans Honor Squad
This ceremony is available to all veterans. The Honor Squad may, depending on availability, serve as casket bearers, fold and present the American flag, fire three volleys, and play taps. At Memorial Services, the flag will be folded and presented and taps will be played. Not all services listed above may be available. This ceremony may be performed by a number of different organizations. Active Duty – No charge Suggested Donation to VFW Volunteers $200.00
Horse Drawn Carriage
Upon arrival to the cemetery, the casket or urn is transferred from the funeral coach to the horse drawn carriage. The procession will continue through the cemetery until the casket arrives at the interment, entombment or inurnment site.

White Bird Release
20 to 50 white birds will be released in a ceremony (cemetery, outside the chapel or church) symbolizing the release of the spirit . The birds circle overhead before they begin their journey home. Family members or friends may release the first birds, if desired.

Motorcycle Escorts
The procession to the cemetery will be escorted by motorcycle escorts. The procession will make its journey to the cemetery along a designated route that could include a drive by the beach or past the home or other special location.

Let the enchanting sound of the highland bagpipes be a presence at your event. You may request that the bagpiper escort the casket from the funeral coach to the gravesite or that he play off in the distance before and after services. New Orleans “Traditional” Jazz & Funeral Band
The Funeral Jazz Band has long been part of the traditional New Orleans Funeral. Jazz Bands accompanied the funeral mourners to the gravesite, playing slow spirituals, known as a “Dirge”. “Just a Closer Walk with Thee” and “Nearer My God to Thee” were two favorites. Once the body had been interned, the Jazz Band began to play some rousing New Orleans Jazz to celebrate the life of the recently deceased. This was known as the “Second Line”. One favorite typically played was “When the Saints Come Marching In. This tradition announced to the community that another soul had gone home.

Witnessed Scattering at Sea
Family members and friends will board a boat in King Harbor or Ports of Call and cruise out to sea for a memorial ceremony. The cremated remains will be placed in a basket, covered with flowers, and lowered to sea. The cremated remains disperse & the boat will then circle the area allowing everyone to reflect and bid final farewell.
