CELEBRATING OVER 75 YEARS IN THE SOUTH BAY 

 History

Our first location was established in Hermosa Beach in 1927. By the time Foster Day and Glade White joined in a partnership in 1946 there was a second location in Manhattan Beach and in the same year they built a third mortuary at the corner of Torrance Blvd. & Prospect in Redondo Beach. In 1985 a fourth location was added in a merger with the Rice Mortuary in Torrance. In the fall of 2003 we continued our growth, adding McCormick Mortuaries in Redondo Beach, Hawthorne, Gardena and Inglewood. We continue to be locally family owned, serving the entire South Bay.

We have an outstanding group of dedicated associates who continue to uphold the high ethical standards established with the founding of White & Day and Rice (formerly Niland) Mortuaries. We strive to treat our family clients with the "Golden Rule" approach and our motto "Our Family Serving Yours" is a reflection of our sincere wish to serve in a compassionate, caring and professional manner.
